TIME Honours UK App Making Travel More Accessible

The Snowball app, designed to help disabled people find accessible places, has been named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2026. Created by Simon Sansome, who became paralysed in 2014, the app provides accessibility assessments and reviews for various locations, aiming to empower disabled individuals to travel with confidence. This recognition highlights the app's impact and potential for expansion, including plans to recruit accessibility assessors in the USA.
