The Black Country Chamber Expo is set to return on 17 March 2027 at Wolverhampton Racecourse, after a successful event earlier this year. The Expo will feature workshops on topics like networking and AI for marketing, and is open to all businesses, aiming to foster new connections and business growth in the region. The event is organised by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Hashtag Events.
The Black Country’s biggest single day business event is to make a return in 2027, with hundreds of companies from across the region expected to take part. The Black Country Chamber Expo will be held at Wolverhampton Racecourse on 17 March 2027, following a hugely successful comeback in February this year after a three year absence. Chamber chief executive Sarah Moorhouse said more than 650 people attended this year’s event, reporting significant new connections and leads to support business growth.
“Planning for the 2027 Expo is now well under way and we’re looking forward to showcasing the very best of our Bostin’ business community once again. “We brought the event back this year after our members demanded it, they really backed the expo and the feedback was exactly what we were hoping for. “We have such a diverse range of successful businesses here in the region and it’ll be fantastic to see them all back in one room again. The Expo presents so many opportunities, whether that’s making new business connections, meeting industry leaders, discovering fresh ideas or sharing knowledge.”
The expo, in partnership with Hashtag Events, will feature workshops on answer engine optimisation, networking, marketing integration and LinkedIn social selling. Steve J Innes will lead a session on B2B networking with keynote speaker Petter Hole sharing his insights on AI for marketing. The event is open to all businesses, including non-Chamber members, and more information on being an exhibitor or to sign up can be found at www.blackcountrychamber.co.uk/expo The event runs from 10am to 2pm on March 17.
Editorial insight
The return of the Black Country Chamber Expo in 2027 highlights the ongoing appetite among local businesses for in-person networking and knowledge sharing opportunities. Having drawn strong attendance and positive feedback earlier this year, the event’s rebooking signals continued demand for large-scale business forums within the region.
For companies in the Black Country, the expo remains a practical platform to forge connections, access sector insights, and promote collaboration across industries. The inclusion of current topics such as AI for marketing and answer engine optimisation suggests organisers are responding to evolving business interests, while the event’s open-door policy may help broaden its reach beyond Chamber members.
